Dr. Prithviraj Bose
Prithviraj Bose, MD, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Leukemia at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Calcutta, India, and completed his internal medicine internship at the University of Washington affiliate in Spokane. Dr. Bose pursued his residency at Henry Ford Hospital and a fellowship in hematology and oncology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He then joined the faculty at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) before moving to MD Anderson.
Dr. Bose specializes in myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs) and works closely with Dr. Srdan Verstovsek in MPN research and clinical trials. He has published over 100 articles in peer-reviewed journals, including The New England Journal of Medicine and Williams’ Hematology. He is also a peer-reviewer for various hematology and oncology journals and was selected for the American Society of Hematology’s Clinical Research Training Institute in 2011.
