Dr. Zhijian Xiao
Zhijian Xiao, MD, PhD is the Director of the Hematologic Pathology Centre at the Institute of Hematology & Blood Diseases Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and Peking Union Medical College. He has been a prominent figure in the field of hematology, holding multiple leadership roles, including Deputy President of the Chinese Association of Hematology.
Prof. Xiao has extensive academic experience, having served as an editorial board member for journals such as Gene, Chromosomes and Cancer, Blood Reviews, and Acta Haematologica. He was a visiting scientist at the Leukemia Research Fund Center in London and a visiting scholar at Kyoto University, Japan.
He holds a Ph.D. in Medicine from Peking Union Medical College and has had a distinguished career, having been a professor of medicine and the director of the MDS and MPN Centre at the same institute.
